What do you do if you want to reach event attendees outside the convention center, in an area where there is no traditional out-of-home media available? Well, if the event happens to be near water you can sail right up to the crowds.

That’s exactly what Ciba did to reach attendees at the convention center in Washington, DC’s new National Harbor. This boatside billboard was able to cruise up and down the Potomac in front of the meeting center and the surrounding hotels, shops and restaurants.

The unique nature of the media, along with the fact that there was literally no competition to be seen made sure that this was a memorable campaign for both Ciba and the event attendees.
